주께서 지옥을 다스리신다

허락하심에 의해 나는 지옥에서 흘러나오는, 악에서 비롯된 허위의 영향권을 지각한 적이 있다. 그것은 선하고 참된 모든 것을 파괴하려는 영구한 노력 같았고, 거기에는 그것을 달성하지 못하는 데 대한 분노와 일종의 광포가 들어 있었다. 특히 그것은 주의 신성을 없애고 파괴하려는 노력이었다. 이는 모든 선과 진리가 주님께로부터 오기 때문이다. 그러나 선에서 비롯된 진리의 영향권이 천국에서 흘러나와 지옥에서 올라오는 광포를 억제하는 것이 지각되었다. 그 결과는 균형이었다. 천국에서 나오는 이 영향권은 천사들에게서 오는 것처럼 보이지만, 사실은 오직 주님에게서만 오늘 것임을 알 수 있었다. 그것이 천사들에게서 오지 않고, 오직 주님에게서만 오는 것은, 천국의 모든 천사가 선하고 참된 것은 아무 것도 자기에게서 오지 않고, 모두 주님으로부터 온다는 것을 확실히 알고 있기 때문이다. A perception of the sphere of falsity from evil that flows forth from hell has often been granted me. It was like a perpetual effort to destroy all that is good and true, combined with anger and a kind of fury at not being able to do so, especially an effort to annihilate and destroy the Divine of the Lord, and this because all good and truth are from him. But out of heaven a sphere of truth from good was perceived, whereby the fury of the effort ascending from hell was restrained. The result of this was an equilibrium. This sphere from heaven was perceived to come from the Lord alone, although it appeared to come from the angels in heaven. It is from the Lord alone, and not from the angels, because every angel in heaven acknowledges that nothing of good and of truth is from himself, but all is from the Lord.
