천국 평화의 상태

The State of Peace in Heaven

천국의 가장 내적인 두 속성은 순진함과 평화다. 이것을 가장 내적인 속성이라고 하는 것은 이 두 가지가 주께로부터 직접 나오기 때문이다. 순진성에서 천국의 모든 선함이 나오고, 평화에서는 선함의 모든 기쁨이 나온다. 모든 선함에는 각각 그에 따르는 기쁨이 있다. 그리고 선함과 기쁨은 사랑에서 생겨난다. 사랑의 대상은 모두 선이라 여겨지고, 또한 기쁘게 느껴지기 때문이다. 이것을 보면 이들 두 가장 내적인 속성, 순진함과 평화는 주의 신적 사랑에서 나와 천사들의 가장 깊은 내면을 감동시키는 것임을 알 수 있다. 순진함이 선함의 가장 내적인 속성임은 천국 천사들의 순진한 상태를 다룬 먼저 장에서 볼 수 있을 것이다. 이제 순진한 선함에서 오는 기쁜의 가장 내적인 속성은 평화임을 설명하겠다. There are two inmost things of heaven, namely, innocence and peace. These are said to be inmost things because they proceed directly from the Lord. From innocence comes every good of heaven, and from peace every delight of good. Every good has its delight; and both good and delight spring from love, for whatever is loved is called good, and is also perceived as delightful. From this it follows that these two inmost things, innocence and peace, go forth from the Lord’s Divine love and move the angels from what is inmost. That innocence is the inmost of good may be seen in the preceding chapter, where the state of innocence of the angels of heaven is described. That peace is the inmost of delight from the good of innocence shall now be explained.
