천국 천사들의 순진한 상태

The State of Innocence of the Angels of Heaven

순진성의 선을 지닌 사람은 누구나 순진함에 감동한다. 그 감동하는 정도는 그가 순진성의 선을 지닌 정도만큼이다. 반면 순진성의 선이 없는 사람은 순진함에 감동하지 않는다. 그렇기 때문에 지옥에 있는 모두는 순진성에 대해서 완전히 적대적이다. 그들은 그게 뭔지를 모른다. 그들은 순진한 사람을 보면 해악을 끼치고 싶은 마음이 끓어오른다. 따라서 그들은 어린아이들을 보고 견디지 못하며, 어린아이를 보자마자 해치려는 잔인한 욕망으로 불탄다. 이를 보면 사람의 자아, 즉 자기 사랑이라는 것은 순진성에 적대적임을 분명히 알 수 있다. 지옥에 있는 사람들은 모두 자아에 빠져 있고, 따라서 자기 사랑 안에 있기 때문이다.주197 Everyone who is in the good of innocence is affected by innocence, and is affected to the extent that he is in that good; but those who are not in the good of innocence are not affected by innocence. For this reason all who are in hell are wholly antagonistic to innocence; they do not know what it is; their antagonism is such that so far as anyone is innocent they burn to do him mischief; therefore they cannot bear to see little children; and as soon as they see them they are inflamed with a cruel desire to do them harm. From this it is clear that what is man’s own, and therefore the love of self, is antagonistic to innocence; for all who are in hell are in what is their own, and therefore in the love of self.197

 

 

주197. 인간의 자아라는 것은 하나님보다 자신을, 천국보다 세상을 더 사랑하는 것이며, 자신은 무척 돌보면서도 이웃에겐 전혀 무관심한 것이다. 그런 게 자기 사랑, 세상 사랑이다 (AC.694, 731, 4317, 5660). What is man’s own is loving self more than God, and the world more than heaven, and making one’s neighbor of no account as compared with oneself; thus it is the love of self and of the world (n. 694, 731, 4317, 5660). 악인들은 이노센스에 완전 적대적이다. 그것의 존재 자체를 못 견뎌 할 정도다 (AC.2126). The evil are wholly antagonistic to innocence, even to the extent that they cannot endure its presence (n. 2126).
