그러나 천사들과 대화하는 것은 오직 선에서 비롯된 진리 안에 있는 사람들, 특히 주님과 그분의 신적 인성을 인식하는 사람들에게만 허락된다. 그것이 천국을 이루는 진리이기 때문이다. 이미 말한 바와 같이, 주께서 천국의 하나님이시고 (HH.2-6), 주의 신성이 천국을 이루며 (HH.7-12), 주의 신성은 주님 사랑과 거기서 비롯되는 이웃 사랑이고 (HH.13-19), 천국 전체는 단 한 사람 모습으로 되어 있으며, 천국의 각 사회와 각 천사도 완전한 사람 모습이고, 이는 주의 신적 인성에서 비롯된다 (HH.59-86). 이 모든 것으로 분명히 알 수 있는 것은 그 내면이 신적 진리에 의해 주님께로 열려 있는 사람들만이 천국의 천사들과, 심지어 주님하고도 대화할 수 있다는 사실이다. 왜냐 하면 주께서는 사람에게 있는 이 진리들 안으로 들어오시기 때문이며, 주께서 들어오시면 천국도 들어오기 때문이다. 신적 진리가 사람의 내면을 여는 이유는 사람은 그 속 사람에 있어서는 천국의 형상이 되고, 겉 사람에 있어서는 세상의 형상이 되도록 창조되었기 때문이다 (HH.57). 그리고 속 사람은 오직 주님으로부터 나오는 신적 진리에 의해서만 열리게 되어 있는 이유는 신적 진리가 천국의 빛이자 생명이기 때문이다 (HH.126-140). But to speak with the angels of heaven is granted only to those who are in truths from good, especially to those who are in the acknowledgment of the Lord and of the Divine in his human, because this is the truth in which the heavens are. For, as it has been shown above, the Lord is the God of heaven (n. 2–6); it is the Divine of the Lord that makes heaven (n. 7–12); the Divine of the Lord in heaven is love to him and charity toward the neighbor from him (n. 13–19); the whole heaven in one complex reflects a single man; also every society of heaven; and every angel is in complete human form, and this from the Divine human of the Lord (n. 59–86). All of which makes evident that only those whose interiors are opened by Divine Truths, even to the Lord, are able to speak with the angels of heaven, since it is into these truths with man that the Lord flows, and when the Lord flows in, heaven also flows in. Divine truths open the interiors of man because man was so created as to be in respect to his internal man an image of heaven, and in respect to his external an image of the world (n. 57); and the internal man is opened only by means of Divine truth going forth from the Lord, because that is the light of heaven and the life of heaven (n. 126–140).
