사람하고 하는 천사들의 말

주님의 직접 입류는 사람의 이마로 들어오고, 거기서 얼굴 전체에 유입된다. 사람의 이마는 사랑에 상응하고, 얼굴은 그의 내면 전체에 상응하기 때문이다.주179 영적 천사들의 입류는 이마에서 관자놀이를 지나 대뇌 전체 부위에 달하는 머리 전반을 통해 사람에게 유입된다. 머리의 그 부분은 지성에 상응하기 때문이다. 반면 천적 천사들의 입류는 소뇌가 있는 부분, 즉 양쪽 귀 사이와 뒷목에 걸친 후두부로 들어온다. 그 부위는 지혜에 상응하기 때문이다. 천사들의 말은 모두 이 두 경로를 통해 우리의 사고 안에 들어온다. 그래서 나는 나와 말하는 천사가 어느 쪽 천사인지 알 수 있었다. The influx of the Lord himself into man is into his forehead, and from that into the whole face, because the forehead of man corresponds to love, and the face corresponds to all his interiors.179 The influx of spiritual angels into man is into his head everywhere, from the forehead and temples to the whole part that contains the cerebrum, because that region of the head corresponds to intelligence; but the influx of celestial angels is into that part of the head that contains the cerebellum, and is called the occiput, from the ears all around even to the neck, for that region corresponds to wisdom. All the speech of angels with man enters by these ways into his thought; and by this means I have perceived what angels they were that spoke with me.

 

 

주179. ‘이마’(The forehead)는 천국 사랑(heavenly love)에 상응한다. 그래서 말씀에서 ‘이마’는 그 사랑을 말한다. The “forehead” corresponds to heavenly love, and consequently in the Word signifies that love (n. 9936). ‘얼굴’(The face)은 사람의 내면(the interiors of man)에 상응한다. 거기는 사고(思考, thought)와 애정(愛情, affection)이 속하는 곳이다. The “face” corresponds to the interiors of man, which belong to thought and affection (n. 1568, 2988, 2989, 3631, 4796, 4797, 4800, 5165, 5168, 5695, 9306). 얼굴은 내면(the interiors)과 상응하도록 형성된다. The face is formed to correspondence with the interiors (n. 4791–4805, 5695). 그래서 말씀에서 ‘얼굴’(the face)은 내면을 말한다. Consequently the “face,” in the Word, signifies the interiors (n. 1999, 2434, 3527, 4066, 4796).
