천국의 예배

Divine Worship in Heaven

천국에서의 하나님 예배는 외면상으로는 지상의 예배와 다를 것이 없다. 그러나 내면에 있어서는 다르다. 지상에서와 같이 천국에도 교리, 설교, 교회 건물들이 있다. 그곳의 교리는 본질에 있어서 어디나 동일하다. 그러나 가장 높은 천국의 교리는 낮은 천국들의 교리보다 더 내적인 지혜를 담고 있다. 설교는 교리에 맞게 구성된다. 그들에게 집과 궁전이 있듯이, 교회 건물도 있으며, 그 안에서 설교를 듣는다. 이러한 것이 천국에 있는 이유는 천사들이 사랑과 지혜를 끊임없이 완성해 가기 때문이다. 이것은 그들도 지상의 사람과 마찬가지로 사고 능력과 의지 기능이 있으며, 두 기능은 끊임없이 더 완벽해질 수 있는 까닭이다. 사고력은 지성에 속한 진리로, 그리고 의지는 사랑에 속한 선으로 완벽해진다.주161 Divine worship in the heavens is not unlike in externals Divine worship on the earth, but in internals it is different. In the heavens, as on the earth, there are doctrines, preachings, and church edifices. In essentials the doctrines there are everywhere the same; but in the higher heavens they contain more interior wisdom than in the lower. The preachings are in harmony with the doctrines; and as they have houses and palaces (n. 183–190), so they have also church edifices, in which there is preaching. Such things exist in heaven, because the angels are being perfected continually in wisdom and love. For they possess, as men do, understanding and will; and both their understanding and their will are capable of being continually perfected, the understanding by means of truths of intelligence, and the will by means of the goods of love.161

 

 

주161. 이해하는 능력은 진리에, 의도하는 능력은 선에 수용적이다. The understanding is receptive of truth, and the will of good (n. 3623, 6125, 7503, 9300, 9930). 모든 것이 진리와 선에 관련되는 것처럼, 사람 역시 그 생명의 모든 것이 이해하는 능력과 의지에 관련된다. As all things have relation to truth and good, so everything of man’s life has relation to understanding and will (n. 803, 10122). 천사들은 영원히 완벽해진다. Angels are perfected to eternity (n. 4803, 6648).
