이제 천국의 열에 대해 언급하겠다. 천국의 열은 그 본질이 사랑이다. 그것이 해로 계신 주께로부터 나오고, 그 해는 신적 사랑이며, 그 사랑은 주님 안에 있고, 주님으로부터 나온다는 것을 앞서 밝혔다. 따라서 천국의 열은 천국의 빛과 근원이 같으므로 마찬가지로 영적이라는 것이 분명하다.주103 해로 계신 주님으로부터 두 가지가 나온다. 신적 진리와 신적 선이다. 천국에서 신적 진리는 빛으로, 신적 선은 열로 나타난다(is manifested). 그러나 신적 진리와 선은 완전히 융합되어(united) 있으므로 둘이 아니라 하나다. 그렇지만 천사들에게는 진리와 선이 분리되어 있다. 어떤 천사들은 신적 진리보다 신적 선을, 다른 천사들은 신적 선보다 신적 진리를 더 많이 받아들이기 때문이다. 신적 선을 더 많이 받는 천사들은 주의 천적 나라에 있고, 신적 진리를 더 많이 받는 천사들은 주의 영적 나라에 있다. 선과 진리를 같은 정도로 받는 천사들이 가장 완벽한 천사들이다. Something shall now be said about the heat of heaven. That heat in its essence is love. It goes forth from the Lord as a sun, which is Divine love in the Lord and from the Lord, as has been shown in the preceding chapter. It is evident, therefore, that the heat of heaven, like the light of heaven, is spiritual, because from the same source.103 There are two things that go forth from the Lord as a sun, Divine truth and Divine good; Divine truth is manifested in the heavens as light, and Divine good as heat; and yet Divine truth and Divine good are so united that they are not two, but one. Nevertheless, with angels they are separate, for there are angels that receive more of Divine good than of Divine truth, and there are those that receive more of Divine truth than of Divine good. Those who receive more of Divine good are in the Lord’s celestial kingdom, and those who receive more of Divine truth are in his spiritual kingdom. Those that receive both in a like degree are the most perfect angels.

 

 

주103. 열의 근원은 둘이며, 빛 또한 그렇다. 이 세상 해와 천국의 해이다. There are two sources of heat and also two sources of light, the sun of the world and the sun of heaven (n. 3338, 5215, 7324). 해로 계신 주님으로부터 나오는 열은 사랑에 속한 애정이다. Heat from the Lord as a sun is affection of love (n. 3636, 3643). 그러므로 영적 열은 그 본질상 사랑이다. Therefore spiritual heat in its essence is love (n. 2146, 3338, 3339, 6314).
