모든 사람의 삶의 즐거움은 사후 그것이 상응하는 것으로 바뀐다

The Delights of Every One’s Life Are Changed after Death into Things That Correspond

이 모든 것으로 분명해 진 것은, 모든 사람의 즐거움은 사후에 그 상응물로 바뀌지만 사랑 자체는 영원히 그대로 보존된다는 사실이다. 부부간의 사랑, 공정과 정직과 선과 진리에 대한 사랑, 학문과 지식에 대한 사랑, 지성과 지혜에 대한 사랑 등이 그렇다. 이들 사랑에서 즐거움이 마치 원천에서 나오는 물줄기처럼 흘러나와 계속 흐른다. 그러나 자연적 즐거움에서 영적 즐거움으로 올라가면 단계의 차원이 높아진다. All this makes evident that everyone’s delights are changed after death into their correspondences, while the love itself continues to eternity. This is true of marriage love, of the love of justice, honesty, goodness and truth, the love of sciences and of knowledges, the love of intelligence and wisdom, and the rest. From these loves delights flow like streams from their fountain; and these continue; but when raised from natural to spiritual delights they are exalted to a higher degree.
