사람은 사후에도 완전한 사람의 형태로 있다

영의 모습이 사람 모습인 까닭은 사람의 영이 천국의 형상으로 지어졌기 때문이다. 천국과 천국 질서에 따른 모든 것이 사람 마음을 이루는 요소들 안에 집결되기 때문이다.주261 지성과 지혜를 받는 능력은 여기서 비롯된다. 지성과 지혜를 받는 능력이라는 것은, 천국을 받는 능력이라는 말과 같은 말이다. 이에 대해서는 앞의 내용 중 천국의 빛과 열(126–140항), 천국의 형태(200–212항), 천사들의 지혜(265–275항)를 다룬 부분과, 천국을 다 합하면 한 사람 모습임(59–77항)과, 그것이 주의 신적 인성에 의한 것이며, 이것이 천국과 그 형태의 근원임(78–86항)을 설명한 부분에서 찾아볼 수 있다. The form of the spirit is the human form because man is created in respect to his spirit in the form of heaven, for all things of heaven and of the order of heaven are brought together in the things that constitute the mind of man;261 and from this comes his capacity to receive intelligence and wisdom. Whether you say the capacity to receive intelligence and wisdom or the capacity to receive heaven it is the same thing, as can be seen from what has been shown about the light and heat of heaven (n. 126–140); the form of heaven (n. 200–212); the wisdom of angels (n. 265–275); and in the chapter that the form of heaven as a whole and in part reflects a single man (n. 59–77); and this by virtue of the Divine human of the Lord, which is the source of heaven and its form (n. 78–86).

Man is the being into whom are brought together all things of Divine order, and by creation he is Divine order in form (n. 4219, 4222, 4223, 4523, 4524, 5114, 6013, 6057, 6605, 6626, 9706, 10156, 10472). 사람이 신적 질서를 따르는 한, 그는 내세에서 사람, 그러니까 완벽하고 아름다운 사람으로 보인다 (AC.4839, 6605, 6626). So far as a man lives in accordance with Divine order he is seen in the other life as a man, complete and beautiful (n. 4839, 6605, 6626).
