천국 천사들의 능력

The Power of the Angels of Heaven

그러나 알아두어야 할 것은 천사들 스스로는 아무 능력이 없고, 그들의 모든 능력은 주님으로부터 온다는 사실이다. 또 그들이 이것을 인식할 때만 능력이 있다는 사실이다. 그들 중 누군가 자기 스스로 능력이 있다고 믿게 되면 그 순간 단 한 악령에게도 저항할 수 없을 정도로 약해진다. 그렇기 때문에 천사들은 어떤 공로도 자기들에게 돌리지 않으며, 그들이 한 일에 대한 어떤 찬사와 영광도 싫어하고, 모든 찬사와 영광을 주께 돌린다. But it must be understood that the angels have no power whatever from themselves, but that all their power is from the Lord; and that they are powers only so far as they acknowledge this. Whoever of them believes that he has power from himself instantly becomes so weak as not to be able to resist even a single evil spirit. For this reason angels ascribe no merit whatever to themselves, and are averse to all praise and glory on account of anything they do, ascribing all the praise and glory to the Lord.
