천국들이 서로 이렇게 달라서 한 천국의 천사들이 다른 천국 천사들과 교류할 수 없을 정도지만, 그러나 주님은 모든 천국을 직접 간접의 입류를 통해 하나로 결합하신다. 직접 입류는 주님 자신으로부터 모든 천국에 흘러들고, 간접 입류는 한 천국에서 다른 천국으로 흘러든다.주41 But although the heavens are so distinct that there can be no companionship between the angels of one heaven and the angels of another, still the Lord joins all the heavens together by both direct and mediate influx—direct from himself into all the heavens, and mediate from one heaven into another.41
주41. 주님에게서 나오는 입류(Influx)는 주님 자신에게서 직접 나온다. 또한 간접 입류는 한 천국에서 다른 천국으로 흐르는데, 그런 식으로 사람의 내면(man’s interiors)에까지 이른다. Influx from the Lord is direct from Himself and also mediate through one heaven into another, and in like manner into man’s interiors (n. 6063, 6307, 6472, 9682, 9683). 주님에게서 나오는, 신성의 직접 입류(Direct influx of the Divine) Direct influx of the Divine from the Lord (n. 6058, 6474–6478, 8717, 8728). 영들의 세계에서 자연계로 흘러드는 간접 입류(Mediate influx) Mediate influx through the spiritual world into the natural world (n. 4067, 6982, 6985, 6996).
이렇게 주님은 세 천국을 하나 되게 하신다. 또 만물을 근원에서 가장 말단에 이르기까지 그렇게 연결되게 하시기 때문에, 연결되지 않은 존재는 하나도 없다. 중간 것을 통해 근원에 연결되어 있지 않은 것은 존재를 계속할 수 없고, 흩어져 없어진다.주42 He thus makes the three heavens to be one, and all to be in such connection from the first to the last that nothing unconnected is possible. Whatever is not connected through intermediates with the First can have no permanent existence, but is dissipated and becomes nothing.42
